A crucial upgrade to South East Queensland’s power infrastructure was lead and completed by KBG in the heart of North Brisbane’s suburbs.
Located in the remote parts of Queensland’s Gladstone region, KBG completed an alternative energy project for the state’s infrastructure.

KASA Building Group was engaged to construct a full substation feeding off a BESS, the substation consisted of KBG were also engaged for the transmission.
KBG also were engaged for the Civil Site Supervision component for a portion of the project.

KASA Building Group was engaged to construct a full bay which involved (51) pier foundation (3) dead tank circuit breakers, (16) lattice tower foundations, (2) earth poles, cable trenches, conduits, earthing, earthworks, fencing, drainage, drainage pits. KBG also were engaged for the Civil Site Supervision component of the project.
Year of engagement and lead time: 2022 – 4 months.
KASA Building Group was engaged to construct a full bat which consisted of (34) piers, (3) circuit breakers, drainage, conduits, cable trenches, earthing and a road crossing. KBG were also engaged for the Civil Site Supervision component of the project. Year of engagement and lead time: 2021 – 3 months.
KASA Building Group was engaged to construct 2 full bays which consisted of (128) piers (10) gantry foundations, (2) circuit breakers, 119m of cable trench, 1086m of conduit. There was also a technical road and drainage build and (9) transmission line foundations.
Year of engagement and lead time: 2023 – 9 months.
Kasa Building Group were engaged to construct a full bay connection in between two existing bays. The bay consisted of 24 piers ,9 pad foundations ,3 dead tank circuit breakers ,1 cbmk ,135m conduit and 2 fibre optic pits .KBG were also engaged to construct the transmission foundations for the connection.

KASA Building Group was engaged to construct a spare transformer foundation.
KBG also were engaged for the Civil Site Supervision component for a portion of the project.

KASA Building Group was engaged to construct 275/33kV Transformer Bund, Site Oil Drainage Works, Earthing Grid Works, Construction works 275kV, Conduit and Earthgrid including Cable Trench, Cable Pits, Cable Trench and MK, Switchyard Surfacing, Substation Sediment and Erosion Control. Year of engagement and Lead time: August 2023 – 1 year.4 Months.
KASA Building Group was engaged to construct a full battery yard a large access road and a MRTS slip lane the slip lane entry and road widening on Burnett Highway at the Bouldercombe Substation entrance.
Year of engagement and lead time: 2022 – 7 months.
KASA Building Group was engaged to construct the transmission line foundations and the feeder bay from the Aldoga Solar Farm to the Larcom Creek Substation. There were (46) foundations in total and KBG completed this project 1 month under Practical Completion.

Package 2 year of engagement and lead time: 2024 – 3 months.
KASA Building Group was engaged to construct a full yard extension of the South Pine Substation in Brendale.
KBG also were engaged for the Civil Site Supervision component for a portion of the project.
Year of engagement and lead time: 2024 – 9 months.
KASA Building Group was engaged to prepare the laydown area, installation of capping layers including sub-base and base course for switchyard bench and buffer, external Spur Access Road from the switching station main vehicle gate up to 20m outside towards the Wind Farm access track, drainage systems, conduits, pits, erosion and sediment control, landscaping of blue metal aggregate. KBG were also engaged to erect (6) concrete poles one of them being a three sectional pole.

KASA Building Group was engaged to construct (2) transformer builds and (36) transmission line foundations.
Year of engagement and lead time: 2023 – 3 months.
KASA Building Group was engaged to construct the Pine Gap Substation 66kV to 33kV Substation, this project was a new build and involved a transformer foundation, cable pits, (1) control room, (2) gantries, (19) pad footings, (23) pier foundations, conduits and drainage. KBG were also engaged to construct the new access road and Civil Site Supervision component of the project in separate packages.
Year of engagement and lead times: 2021 – 7 months.
KBG were engaged by Ipswich city council for a full refurbishment of the waste facility bin at then Riverview resource centre.
KBG also were engaged for the Civil Site Supervision component for a portion of the project.
Year of engagement and lead time: 2024 – 2 months.
